3. Acceptance of General terms and conditions
By making a booking, or using the services of the website you acknowledge and accept these terms & conditions of ‘People Of The World’ in total, unconditionally and without any exception or opposition. It should be noted that the Terms and Conditions of all transactions concerning ‘People of The World’ apply to all reservations that are given by the user either via the web portal ‘People of The World’ or by telephone or directly to the office of ‘People of The World’. ‘People of The World’ provides a portal, that offers travel services and interacts with the organizers/providers of travel services to ensure the best rates of service provided concerning the customers’ reservations (hotels, tours and other travel services) offered by the organizers/providers of travel services. The reservation of services through the Website is possible only if the product or service requested is actually available. In the case that the reservation is made, the contract binds only the user and the provider of that product or service. ‘People of The World’ provides exclusively interaction in terms of mediation between users and providers and the liability is limited to the fulfilment of that obligation portal ‘People of The World’. We clearly note that ‘People of The World’ is not organizing its own trips-products.
Responsible for the fulfilment of agreements made through the portal ‘People of The World’ Website, is only the individual provider of travel services. The user should consult the general business conditions of the organizers/providers thereof.
After the completion of the relevant fields of the reservation form on our website and the completion of the booking process, the user gives specific instructions to portal ‘People of The World’ to mediate to the provider of travel service, offered by the provider, or any other service associated with the implementation of a journey. The Instructions of the user for the mediation of portal ‘People of The World’ concerning the services and products offered via the web, would include in particular one or all of the following operations: reservations made by the user via the Internet portal or by phone or by the user’s visit to the offices of ‘People of The World’ at 15-17 Antoni Tritsi, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Descriptions of the hotels and their facilities and amenities are provided by hotels or providers. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and information are accurate, but we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions. Changes may occur which are beyond our control. In the interests of continued improvement, hotels may change furniture, fittings, amenities, facilities or any part of any activities, either advertised or previously available, without prior information to us. Hotels will also show the effects of normal wear and tear and these too are also beyond our control. Please note that hotel classifications and assessments are often based on our own view and may not reflect other sources. We will not accept any claim for compensation based on any description or information either provided or missing. The reservation order is binding to the user in any case. Reservations that are NOT made through the portal of portal ‘People of The World’ may have differences in pricing. In case of short-term changes, by the provider, concerning the product-travel, which is chosen by the user; eg a delay or cancellation, portal ‘People of The World’ will try to contact the user via phone or email and inform the user about the changes.
‘People of The World’is not liable for any transfers, delays and cancellations of flights or other travel services and products of the provider. The user is responsible for compliance with the terms set by each provider, such as conditions imposed by any airline on-time check-in confirmation or return flights. The user is informed of these conditions by that provider.
5. Confirmation of booking and dispatch of travel documents.
By booking through the portal ‘People of The World’ website, the user will receive from portal ‘People of The World’ confirmation of the reservation through your e-mail. The user must immediately verify the validity of the confirmation details (name, date of departure, destination, etc.) and inform portal ‘People of The World’ for any mistakes made during the booking. Errors that are listed and reported after the end of the reservation was made by the user will not be taken into account. ‘People of The World’ cannot guarantee that errors can be corrected and/or dealt without cost, even on early notification by the user. Many providers do not make any error correction after the entry of the reservation by the user. Please note that the late reporting of errors or the inability to correct them, in no way entitle him to withdraw from the contract. The tickets are sent to the user as electronic tickets (e-ticket) via electronic mail (e-mail), mail or courier. In exceptional cases, tickets may be obtained from the offices of the airline at the airport or from the offices of ‘People of The World’. In this case, the customer will receive a reservation code by phone or e-mail. ‘People of The World’ is not responsible for lost tickets and travel documents sent by post. In the case of hotel reservations, the appropriate documentation (e.g. vouchers, reservation forms) will be sent to the user. The user receives an e-mail with the reservation details and he/she can print a voucher necessary to show the hotel reception in order to receive the service he/she has paid for. Additionally if requested by the user travel documents may be received from the offices of ‘People of The World’ during the opening hours of the office.
The ‘People of The World’s fee for mediation between the user and the provider, is included in the total price of the service or product. ‘People of The World’is informed about the prices of travel products and services from the specific provider that the services have been requested. For price changes by the providers, ‘People of The World’ has no responsibility. Liable to such responsibilities are always the service/product providers. ‘People of The World’ is not responsible for any reservation fees charged by the provider in case of cancellation of travel or the services. These fees are solely the user’s responsibility.
7. Payment method
The payment methods are listed on the website of ‘People of The World’ separately for each product or service. The only ways of payment that can be accepted are strictly solely the ones referred to the website payment methods. Note that most credit card types are accepted. The credit card users will use the credit card’s details in order to pay the services or products booked. In some cases, the user will receive the final confirmation of the reservation and the amount of money asked. This total sum may be paid by credit card, cash or through a bank account. In case of payment by another person’s credit card (the cardholder’s name is different than the one who is actually paying) written consent of the cardholder is required as well as a photocopy of the front and back side of the credit card and a photocopy of a valid ID of the cardholder person. If the method of payment is by credit card the whole amount will be charged with the completion of the booking. If the payment is going to be done by bank deposit, there is a 24-hour deadline to deposit the entire amount only in the case that the cancellation deadline allows. Before the down payment of the purchased product, ‘People of The World’ has no obligation to deliver any travel documents to the user. In any case, the customer is obliged to pay the price for the services and products ordered. ‘‘People of The World’ may ask the user to produce any evidence relating to the residence or a copy of his credit card or send a bank account deposit slip via fax or mail before the final issuance of the service. ‘People of The World’ has the right to send the tickets, the confirmation of reservation, vouchers and/or other travel documents only to the address stated by the user to his/her bank or to the publisher’s credit card.
8. Cancellations, Changes
The ability to change or cancel a service or product booked through ‘People of The World’ is subject to conditions set by each provider. Any costs that might arise in case of change or cancellation of a travel service, which is determined by conditions of each provider, are settled solely by the user. If the provider gives the user the right to change or cancel a product or service, a user who wishes to make any changes or cancellations must notify by writing to ‘People of The World’ via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or via fax at +30 2310 229250 informing about the changes or cancellations.
If the order for cancellation/change is sent not during the office’s working hours, then the date of receipt of the order will be considered on the next business day.
‘‘People of The World’ can not cancel or modify a reservation unless it receives written authorization of the user as mentioned above. In case of cancellation or partial cancellation of the booking of a trip or any other product or service made by the user through ‘People of The World’, the remuneration of ‘People of The World’ for the mediation between the user and the provider is non-refundable and the fixed costs are as follows:

10. Provisions relating to passports, visas, currency and health regulations
If the user is travelling abroad he/she should comply with the relevant provisions on passports, visas, customs, taxes, and provisions for imports and exports, as well as health conditions. The responsibility for complying with the above provisions shall be carried out by the user. For authoritative information, the user should contact the provider of the travel/excursion, or the consulate of the country he/she will travel to.
11. Exclusion of Liability
The information and data on the services and products are offered by the provider. ‘People of The World’ makes every effort to verify the information published on this site to secure any mistakes and inaccuracies. ‘‘People of The World’ does not warrant the adequacy, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of such information offered by providers.
‘‘People of The World’ is not responsible for the unavailability of the service or product on the booking date or the fulfilment of the contract with the provider. In any case, People of The World’ is not responsible for acts, errors, omissions, warranties, breaches or denial of any provider, or for injury, death, destruction of property or other losses or damages and in compensation and expenses that may arise from causes related to the operation and use of the site and the information, products and services offered by the provider or from any pre-paid products or services or information available through this website.
12. The responsibility of the user
The use of the site must comply with the law restrictions and be used for lawful purposes only. Also, the use of this site should be done in a legal manner so it will not restrict or prevent its use by other users. The user must use the website in accordance with the law, morality and the present conditions, and not to any acts or omissions that may cause damage or dysfunction in it can affect or endanger the provision of services of ‘’People of The World’. Using this site the user is guaranteed that is at least 18 years old and meets the legal requirements for the use of this site. The user is required to supervise and take responsibility for any use of the website from any improper or underaged persons using that user’s account. The user also guarantees the accuracy and completeness of all information and data which relate to the individual user or family members, which are transmitted in the use of this site.
Any reservation if done for profit, misleading purposes, or to defraud, or seeking to increase demand is prohibited. The possibility of reservation of services or products through this website may be used only when making legitimate reservations and purchases in the name of the user or with respect to other persons, for and on behalf of whom have the right to act.

The copyright and all other rights, as well as the contents of this site, belong solely to ‘People of The World’ unless otherwise stated as the property of others. The name of ‘People of The World’’ as well as all trademarks, logos and all graphic designs displayed on the website are the property of ‘People of The World’ or property of third parties.
Any copying, distribution, transportation, processing, resale, create derivative work or Misleading the public about the real provider of the content of this website. Any reproduction, republication, downloading, communication, distribution, or transmission or any other use of content in any manner or means, for commercial or other purposes is permitted only with prior authorization of ‘People of The World’ or another holder of the copyright.
14. Applicable law
The law applied to relations between users of the site and ‘People of The World’ is exclusively Greek law except for the rules of private international law.
Responsible for resolving disputes which arise between the parties is the court of Thessaloniki.
15. Modification of the Terms
‘‘People of The World’has the right to amend or extend the above Terms and Conditions for using this website at any time with effect for the future without creating an obligation to inform the user about it. The website will show the contract terms as applicable to the present time.
When the site is used after a change in general conditions of use, the user immediately accepts such modifications.
